Dr. Harmer loves doing humanitarian work for the dentally under-privileged. While most of the humanitarian work he has done has been local, he loves travelling internationally to serve. He has made humanitarian trips to such locations as Nicaragua, Thailand, Turks and Caicos, Mexico, and the Navajo Nation. He and his staff are currently planning a major trip to Cambodia:
Our Falcon Ridge Dental Care staff will travel to southeast Asia to provide dental treatment to children in schools and an orphanage in a remote village. We will primarily serve a town called Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor Wat temple complex. A field dental clinic will be set up in a local village school and volunteers in Cambodia have arranged to work alongside us. While many of our dental supplies will be donated by generous dental supply companies, there is still a significant cost for travel, government fees and licenses, and room and board.
